Minitour Rome & Florence Escapade - 6 Days / 5 Nights - Tourist Category

Day 1:

Arrival in Rome, transfer to the hotel on your own. Check in and opportunity to book one of our Rome by night tours (check our brochure I Love Rome). Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 2:

Breakfast at the hotel, and feel free to stroll around the shopping streets, the most famous monuments and the most hidden gems of the Eternal city. Meet our guide at 2:15 PM** at Parco Colle Oppio, via delle Terme di Tito, corner of via Nicola Salvi (inside the park) for the tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Access the Palatine Hill with no line and discover the foundation site of Rome. Then enter the Colosseum, ancient Amphitheater for bloody shows with gladiators, animals, and cruel games. Walk on the Via Sacra, see Temples of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina, the Basilica Julia and Aemilia. Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 3:

Breakfast at the hotel, meet our professional guide at 8:45 AM* in Piazza del Risorgimento and take a tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Admire the Gallery of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Borgia Apartments. Learn about the Raphael Rooms and The School of Athens. Enter the Sistine Chapel, with its ceiling as a cornerstone of High Renaissance art. Visit St. Peter’s Square, redesigned by Bernini, an architectural Baroque masterpiece. Admire St. Peter’s Basilica (outside), the largest church in the world, home to the canopy by Bernini and Pietà by Michelangelo. Lunch on your own. Overnight stay in Rome.

* Vatican Museums tour in Portuguese available on Day 3 (AM or PM, depending on language).

Day 4:

Breakfast at the hotel, departure by train and arrive in Florence. Once there, make your own way to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 5:

After breakfast at your hotel, reach the meeting point at 8:45 AM at the corner between Via Ricasoli and Piazza San Marco, in front of the loggiato of Accademia Gallery. An assistant waits for you (wearing blue clothing with Gray Line logos). Guided Visit of the renowned Accademia Gallery, with a total immersion in the art of Michelangelo to know his most renowned works, the “David”, and other important masterpieces such as ''I Prigioni'', ''San Matteo'' and the “Palestrina Pietà”.
The Tour ends about at 10:00 AM. Free time at your disposal. In the afternoon meeting point (on your own) at Piazzale Montelungo at 1:15 PM (Montelungo Square), at the end of the ramp connecting with the railway station. An Assistant waits wearing blue clothing with Gray Line logos to join the group before departing to Pisa at 1:30 AM. Upon arrival in Pisa, you will visit Piazza dei Miracoli, the Baptistery (outside), the Cathedral* (inside), and the Leaning Tower (outside). Return to Florence and overnight.

* In case of long queue, if you cannot visit the interior of the Cathedral, you will be offered a guided visit of Piazza dei Cavalieri.

Day 5 languages for the activities
